Mergers and Acquisitions - Full-time M&A Associate position - Paris Office

Canaccord Genuity is looking to hire an Associate for its Paris team which consists of 20 professionals. Present in France for more than 15 years, the Paris office executes more than 10 deals per year in the €100-€500m EV range.

The primary role of the Associate will be to work with Managing Directors and Associate Directors on the origination and execution of corporate finance transactions across a range of sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and overseeing marketing materials and other documentation, transaction process management, and producing complex financial models for corporate finance transactions

Canaccord Genuity gives its Associates significant execution responsibilities as well as direct client exposure. The Group is committed to the professional development of its junior staff.


Profile required

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have strong analytical abilities, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills and should demonstrate commitment, creativity and integrity.

  • At least 3 years' relevant experience at an investment bank, M&A firm or similar institution
  • Highly driven team-spirited individual with strong analytical skill
  • Strong academic background with demonstrated quantitative skills
  • Thorough knowledge of financial terms and concepts with emphasis on accounting and corporate finance
  • Language skills in French and English (excellent writing and speaking skills). A third language is a plus
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and standard business/financial databases
