Hiring context

CASE CASSIOPEA is looking to expand its French team and is looking to strengthen its Paris office team with Senior Associates / VPs / Directors who are ambitious and talented individuals willing to join an entrepreneurial adventure.
CASE CASSIOPEA offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that provide exposure to a wide variety of financial advisory deals (buy-side, sell-side, fundraising) for a wide variety of clients (corporate, private equity / infrastructure funds, institutional) within a well-established network covering Benelux, Germany, Italy, Nordics and Latin America.

II - Job description - VP :

Key Responsabilities

  • Transaction Execution
    o Lead project management of live M&A and fundraising transactions (buy-side, sell-side).
    o Oversee preparation of key deliverables including Information Memoranda, pitchbooks, and management presentations.
    o Supervise and review financial modelling and valuation work (DCF, LBO, comparable analysis).
    o Coordinate all deal workstreams, including internal teams and external stakeholders.
    o Support structuring and negotiation phases in collaboration with Directors and Partners.
    o Serve as a trusted day-to-day point of contact during execution
  • Origination & Business Development
    o Support origination activities through idea generation, sector research, and preparation of marketing materials.
    o Actively engage with clients, management teams, and professional advisors.
    o Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Team Management & Mentorship
    o Supervise Associates and Analysts; ensure quality of output and alignment with firm standards.
    o Contribute to developing CASE’s technical excellence and collaborative culture.
    o Play a role in team recruiting and training processes as the firm grows.
  • Cross-border Collaboration
    o   Leverage CASE’s European network and ABN AMRO partnership to identify cross-border opportunities.

 

Candidate Profile

Outstanding academic track record from a top-tier business or engineering school.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in M&A (investment banking or corporate finance boutique).
• Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in valuation techniques and financial modelling (DCF, LBO). Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong business development instinct.
• High-impact communication, both written and verbal, at least in French and English.
• Client-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
